Who are Wattle and Daub
Wattle and Daub are the pseudonyms for two very seasoned magic and comedic performers who regularly perform their Murder Mystery Show around the UK.
Lady Wattle Psychic Detective
Olivia Post is an artist living in Sussex. She won a scholarship to The Oxford School of Drama, following her graduation she spent several years touring and performing as an actress and performing as one of half of comedy double act Gaynor and Post (who secured a place in the funny women semi finals).
Over the years her skills have diversified, she has written two plays, performs as a children’s entertainer and creates amazing balloon sculptures, (her balloon castle made to commemorate the Battle of Hastings appeared on Have I got News For You)!
Olivia still performs as an actress, she has been acting this year in a new feature film, and performed last year in Canada, in a show, that combined, film animation, balloons and acting all in one.
She has an eclectic background; a collector of fascinating facts and a lover of history and all types of art, and brings a wealth of experience to Wattle and Daub; She is the perfect foil to Daub.
Lady Wattle’s butler, Daub
Daub, or Mike , has been in magic for over 40 years, as a performer and creator of magic effects. He has also been involved in developing acts for other performers.
It started, as it so often does, with a magic trick shown to him by an Uncle…. the rest is history.
Performing in some of the top hotels and venues in the UK and abroad, Mikes slant of magical comedy has made him a favourite with booking agents and their clients for many years.
His ability to create effects tailored to the clients needs is what has made his name for him.
Bespoke acts reflecting a company’s name or product is what he does best, and his development of the Wattle and Daub Murder Mystery Comedy Show, in collaboration with Olivia, is a culmination of many years experience.
